The hotel is like the Tokyo Imperial Hotel and more transported to this location on top of a hill, facing the Sakurajima volcano, which one can stare at while bathing in the open air mineral waters at the onsen/spa. There are many different restaurants inside this enormous place so we dined in for the 2 nights. There is a shuttle service to the downtown area to while the daytime hours, which also goes to the train station."
