"We had an excellent stay at Hotel Sommerro. The staff is attentive and helpful, and we were very pleased with the amenities in our room. The location is excellent with easy parking and all of downtown Oslo's attractions are just a short walk away. That all being said - you could disregard all that and just stay here for the breakfast alone. Hosted in their beautiful art deco bar, walking into the buffet area feels like entering the Chocolate Room in Willy Wonka's factory...never in my life have I seen such a spread. In addition to the most amazing selection of meats/cheeses/granola/fruit/parfaits I have ever seen, their short-order chefs are standing by to create all manner of hot delights (I recommend the eggs Royale.). It is not to be missed."

"Property is located on the waterfront, so nice location. Staff promptness to answering calls was slow to not at all. Breakfast was included in my room rate, so quality of food available was good not great. Also breakfast service staff was quite busy so response times for coffees and breakfast orders was quite slow. Vegetarian food options are literally non existent in their room service or restaurant menus - so if you are vegetarian, be prepared to eat outside or order food in. Will look for better hotel options in Oslo next time!!"
