4/10 Poor

My wife and I were in Fort Worth to visit friends and we selected this location because it was close to where they lived. Based on the interior pictures and the marketing phrase of "step into paradise", I had expectations that the overall house would match the photos. Boy was I wrong! The neighborhood and house are old, worn, and dilapidated homes that appear to have been built 100 years ago. The place has clearly been painted to cover up the age, but the wear and tear of time is there. The three bedrooms are adequate in size and share one, tiny bathroom. The largest, "master" bedroom is the furthest away, so we utilized the two closer rooms. The dishwasher was out of order and that wasn't mentioned. We hand washed our dishes. There was no hairdryer as listed on the amenities. Forget about enjoying a glass on wine in paradise, because there are no wine glasses. Thankfully, there was coffee, filters, and plenty of mugs.It wasn't all bad. The firm beds slept fine. The a/c was preset to 65, so the place stayed cool. The neighbors were quiet and we slept fine. The location was extremely convenient to our friends house, literally 10 minutes away. Overall, the stay was fine minus the hairdryer situation. There is nothing wrong with this Vrbo unit, just know what you are renting. Based on the pictures alone, you may get the wrong impression.
