We enjoyed a superb week! Staff was extremely helpful, our room was clean and quiet. The inn provided beach chairs, towels, and carts for the 10 minute walk to the beach, even a shell cleaning station. Plenty of bikes for guests to use. We were looking for a quiet place to stay. The Tarpon Tale Inn checked off every single box! From the welcoming text to the friendly Inn keeper, our stay was perfect. The room was clean and nice in size. The location was perfect! Just a quick bike ride (which were free of charge) to the beach. There were some cute shops next door and across the street. If we decide to stay on Sanibel Island again, we will be staying there!!

We had a short 2 day stay in Sanibel, and Tarpon Tale was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Easily walkable to some dining, shopping, and nice beaches, and the complimentary bikes give you the ability to explore the whole island while leaving the car parked. The extra details of this small independent hotel (bikes, shell-washing stations, fire pit area) are a great match for the small town, friendly feel of the island. Highly recommend

Cannot say enough good things about the Tarpon Tale Inn! Joe and Connor went above and beyond welcoming us and communicating with us to make sure our stay was perfect. Very clean, food, coffee, ice cream, and shopping across the street and right next door. The free bikes and beach stuff were awesome. They have literally thought of EVERYTHING! Even a shell washing station. Will DEFINITELY be back!
