When i asked for my bedding to be changed after the first night because i spilt coffee on the sheets the first woman put it off on another woman.
Once I was able to communicate what i wanted to the woman who spoke no English she understood i needed the bed changed.
I left money on the bed and went out to take care of some business.
When I returned, took a shower, and began to head back out I noticed it had not been done and the lady was past my room.
So i asked. She used a translator on the phone and told me that she was instructed “not” to fill my request and to tell me that i would have to see the front counter to make a ticket.. or something.
Instead of leaving I headed to the front desk to see what I needed to do to get another set of sheets.
I was told in the snottiest ghetto like voice “This ain’t no 5 star hotel! You need to go upstairs, get your sheets off your bed yourself, and bring them to me. THEN, I will give you another set of bedding for you to put on yourself!”
After i picked my jaw up off the floor I got upset with her for her tone and what she said to me.
A simple “we ask that you help out by requesting additional assistance at the front desk and we can give exchange any bedding or towels directly to you…
Ha even a. Sir you’ll have to bring stuff like that down to exchange it. Thanks for understanding.
So, I tipped the lady that communicated with me and the lady that was doing all the laundry. The lady at the front desk got none.
