Diamond Head Beach resort is a fantastic place to stay on Fort Myers Beach. Friendly staff. Hotel has direct beach access as well as two hot tubs and a pool. Rooms are clean and the one bedroom suites are wonderful! Spacious suites with a small kitchen. The one I stayed in had a small refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen, sink, and area to use for food prep. This room was spacious and clean. Request an additional towels to be brought to my room Request a additional towels to be brought to my room and the staff who delivered the towels were very friendly The only downfall is the drinks at the bar are basically slushies. I was expecting to get an awesome creamy piña colada but instead it was just a basically a coconut pineapple slushy with some alcohol. Another benefit is the hotel now offers two beach chairs and an umbrella each day for their guest to use on the beach, highly recommend.

This property was in a great location so we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We spent most of our it time at the pool and ate at Cabanas several times and the food was good. Drink prices were also very reasonable for staying in a resort. We also really enjoyed the live music every day. The room was surprisingly large and overlooked the pool/Beach. We would definitely stay here again. Only drawback is it would be nice if they sold drinks or snacks somewhere on the property.

This resort is very expensive is number one on the beach yet we paid for it and went. When we arrived on the beach we learn beach chairs and umbrella were not included or part of the hotel compare to what described online. Cost per day was an additional 50.00. We learn after calling twice cleaning for the rooms are not included in our stay compare to what Expedia disclosed online. The room floors were dirty the whole entire time we stay there we had to keep socks on our feet to avoid taking dirt and sand onto the beds.

If you are expecting a resort, this is not it! I used to love this resort, but they really are more of a condo with restaurant now. No towel service at the pool, no breakfast onsite, no room service, no daily cleaning and no spa. If you expect me to bring towels to the lobby to swap, please do not call yourself a resort; a complete disappointment. Service at the bar and restaurant was lacking. I will not be returning…so sad to see such a great place take such a turn.

The view from the blacony is good from any room. The bed was comfortable and not hard. The mini kitchen functioned fine for our needs. The food and drinks at the pool bar were great! The live music was great!! The karaoke was ok and fun at times..lol. The shower was ok. More water pressure. the is noisy. Great stay for a family of 3!!!
