Wilton Manors Gem

From the moment I booked this place, it was a great experience because the host, Janice, provided seamless check-in instructions. My flight was 3 hours late getting in, but once I walked into the guesthouse, the space was very comfortable, the bed, the bathroom, and there were very nice amenities like the microwave, mini fridge, chiller bottled waters, and most importantly, GREAT a/c that helped me reset and enjoy my weekend stay. This location is literally a block from the nightlife but quiet enough to relax and recharge your batteries. I met Janice the second day of my visit, and she is really nice and approachable and made me feel welcomed. I would highly recommend booking this gem when you can because I will on my trip down.

WILTON MANORS HORROR HOUSE

If I could go back in time, I would never stay here. The issues started when I was left waiting 45 minutes outside in Florida’s heat, humidity, and mosquitoes. The “welcome” was from a rude, silent host named Janice. I travel with my ESA/service dog, and while they accepted him, it was clear they disliked animals. The room was dusty and noisy, with an ancient AC that barely worked, needles in the bed/closet, sticky floors, and unsafe conditions. At 8 a.m., construction crews began hammering and drilling right beside my room, terrifying my dog to the point of injury. When I refused the host’s fake “discount” offers, she retaliated by forcing me, my dog, and my luggage onto the street for 6 hours in the Florida heat, costing me extra transportation and expenses. This was the most hostile and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Noisy neighbors then construxtion

This is a single family house chopped up into units and we weee awakened at 2 am several nights by the unhappy guests next door screaming in Spanish. When we noticed mgmt by email inky they decided to build a sound wall 2 days later after the backpackers left, so we had to vacate due to noise.no aervhce vame to change or leave linens.

Great location, uncomfortable stay. Easily walkable to anything long Wilton Dr, so super convenient location. The room itself was about as bargain basement as it gets. The bed: Mushy mattress, cheap aluminum frame, rock hard pillows, and black fitted sheet covered in white lint. Black fitted sheets also don't inspire confidence in cleanliness. The room: Tiny, paper thin walls (I heard every little noise from the adjoining room, including their front door lock engage), awkward closet (which was the only storage space) and sparse walls. The bathroom: Broken medicine cabinet that kept popping open on its own, zero counter space, and a super thin plastic shower curtain that loved to float up and wrap you in a cold, clammy embrace every time you showered. The outside: A couple patio chairs that were falling apart and a front door lock that didn't always work smoothly and jammed. The back yard, from what my window looked out at, looked like a construction zone. Overall, this place just felt like a cash grab. A location that is cashing in on its proximity to the drive, but put together as cheaply as possible, without any care or concern for guest experience. And at the same price as nicer locations nearby, it just left me feeling ripped off.
