Nice enough, but not sure I would recommend.

Quaint old building in a good location. Not exactly in the heart of things, but still walkable. Street parking only, and you have to pay attention to the time, so you can't leave your car on the street all day. The other option is the Target parking lot 2 blocks away. Our room was on the second floor, which could be a challenge for anyone who has trouble with stairs. It's a fairly steep, narrow staircase to carry luggage up and down. The room was nice and comfortable, but not particularly quiet. Old windows, noisy A/C unit. There is a refrigerator/wine cooler in the room, stocked with water and coffee creamer, and a counter with a sink, but the coffee is a common Keurig unit downstairs. It would be much nicer if there were a small one in the room itself, rather than having to go down and stand in the small foyer to make coffee.

Cute and cozy, but lack of communication

The room was very nice and cozy, however communication was lacking. I asked if it would be possible to check in at 3 instead of 4. We had dinner plans, and wanted to drop our stuff off ahead of time. I was told they would put in the request, and then nothing. I sent a message asking again, but was ignored. We ended up not being able to check in until 4 which was ignoring. I personally feel that 4 is a little bit late to check in. Would checking in an hour early really hurt? We sat outside in the little court yard for 45 min until we got our code to get inside. Changed our plan for dinner so that we would make it on time.

This our second time staying at The Flats and this time don’t disappoint. It’s very close to CSU campus and in a safe area. You have to park on the street (or at Target up the street), but we have never had a problem finding a spot. Easy check-in and great communications with the hosts. We will always try and book one of these places whenever we’re in town.

We had a good stay at The Flats. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. Upscale bed and sheets. The bathroom was very nicely updated. Great location, you can walk to old town and all the restaurants. Parking was easy, although it was the weekend and you have more options. Our room looked out to the main road in front and we did hear the cars going by. Check in is all done on line and there were no issues. We would stay again.

We went to see a show at the Lincoln Center and it was right across the street! And afterward we walked down to college Avenue and that was very convenient. The place was really clean, Check-In was seamless, and we really appreciated that.

I went to see two of my kids for the night, who go to CSU. I was amazed at how close everything was, checking in/checking out was so easy, the room was INCREDIBLE, comfy, and had everything you need. The fridge came in handy also! The communication with the management was top notch, and I hope to stay there every time I come to town!

Convenient location

The room is very nice - linens are superb - little noisy with road noise however not a big deal at all - parking a little inconvenient and not make for anyone who can not do stairs - we really like the location as it is close to our family and downtown walking distance - we will stay here again in the future.

We had a great and easy stay. Property management was communicative and helpful. The area is super walkable. Street parking was easy to find by the property. You can hear some traffic but you’re downtown so it was to be expected.
