I have given it 5 start as my negatives were more of a pet peeve. The room looked like the photo, the ac was weird. It didn’t make the room cold, we kept the windows open as well but they had warned us not to in case mosquitoes come in. They did but if we didn’t there was no chance of sleeping. Our juice was stolen from the communal fridge. There was no water there to fill up the kettle and I didn’t fancy using bathroom water. The WiFi was terrible in our room, it worked for our first night and then none for the next two days. It showed the symbol on your phone but as soon as you went to surf it dropped. I tried unplugging and plugging the extender in our room to no avail. The address provided takes you to the wrong place on google maps. It was one block back next to a scooter rental shop. I don’t know if it would go back to stay again as I think it was expensive for what it was. The staff were nice enough.

It was easy check in and check out. It was exactly what I needed; fresh towel, soap, blowdryer. The bed was comfy and I loved my view. The place was super secure. One thing to note-the elevator was broken. For me, it was fine because I was just one floor up. Overall, I enjoyed my 1/1.

Comfortable, affordable and close to the centre

A very comfortable - and affordable - stay in Florence. Very near to the central attractions and the rail station. Communication with the hotel was very easy and the staff were very accommodating, looking after my rucksack all day and meeting me with my room key at the start of the day as soon as my train arrived in Florence. There were tea-making facilities but sadly these wouldn't work as the plug types of the kettle didn't match that of those of the room.

This it's a old building but the rooms were upgraded and clean. But in the middle of the night I feels like something poke me, and we found a bed bug. Just checkout early, make a complain and wait for my money back

One of the best great room

It was one of the best hotel rooms specially the bed as a couple we have found difficulty in finding good comfortable beds to good price this hotel is good location great check in service good shower I had a good night sleep

Nice clean modernised room, only one window in mine so a bit dark, just one kettle in hallway for tea and coffee which is a bit disappointing as it wouldn’t cost much to provide one in each room. Location was good in a quiet area but close to city centre.

Conveniently located but very shabby

The place is conveniently located and is good for a short stay if you only need the basics like a bed and a shower. The room is shabby, the door to the room only opens half way, the wardrobe drawer does not easily open or close. However, the bed is comfortable, there is a kettle and a TV. The staff were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately, the room was disappointing and definitely not worth the price.

The A/C was not working, and I requested to be either transferred to a different room, provided a fan or refunded to change hotels, and got complete dismissal from the staff. They did not even try to compromise or provide solutions. Other than that room is good size and good location.

Decent Hotel For Good Price

This was a decent hotel for a good price in a centralized spot in Florence. It is a good value for the location and price and staff was friendly. It’s an older building and hasn’t been renovated in sometime but it gets the job done.

It's a good place to get a shower and bed down. The end of the toilet was about 12cm from the wall, I was almost doing the splits using the bathroom. Definetely not a long term stay either. It's close to the city centre.

Horrible

This "hotel" or "guest house" should really be listed as a motel or hostel. Location wise it was great, but the smell, which I think is just the overall sewage system in Rome was atrocious. Liberty House was in fact the worst place I ever stayed in. I prayed all night that I didn't pick up a fungus. The bathroom is so small, it's not practical. I am a small person and had to use the toilet sideways. It should not be a legal rental being advertised on hotels.com

Not far from Florence train station, you can easily walk to most of the cathedrals and sights from this hotel. I found several ants in my room which was a bit concerning. Apart from that, I had a good stay.

Comfy !!!

This spot is a great spot for all amenities. It’s central to everything including the train station. Staff was great and helpful. The only down side was there was a awful smell in the hallway. That’s it really. We had one of the new rooms and it was fantastic.
