Voy a comenzar con lo bueno, la ubicacion es excelente, muy cerca de la estacion del tren y de casi todo. el personal muy amables todos, no se filtraba el ruido de la calle, la terraza genial. la entrada al hotel es muy bonita. la habitacion que yo rente era para 4 y era grande y las camas comodas. Yo pienso que a este hotal le falta un poco de DETALLE por ejemplo las alfrobras de los pasillos estaba muy vieja con excepcion del ultimo piso que se veia nueva, no se si es que estan cambiandolas poco a poco, la tapa del toliet de mi bano era mas pequena que el toliet, y algunas esquinas de las paredes estaba rotas, entiendo que la gente las dana con las maletas pero a eso me refiero con que LE FALTA EL DETALLE, se supone que una buena administracion veria eso, el mini frizer de mi habitacion no enfriaba bien y eso que lo cambiaron porque en mi caso necesito refrigerar medicinas, pero como no enfriaba ellos guardaron mis medicinas en sus neveras, en dos ocaciones que llegamos a la habitacion no habia luz, aunque el staff llego y lo soluciono al parecer se bajaban los brekes no lo se y ellos tampoco. No puedo opinar sobre la comida porque no comi en el hotel. Si no fueran por esos detalles les daria 10 en todo.

Overall, this hotel was excellent. The room was unique and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sun set from the rooftop, a special amenity. Unfortunately, responsiveness from the staff was not quite as strong. We called both prior and after our stay to address some questions, and were told to email to receive a very fast reply. We emailed via Expedia and directly, several times, but never received a reply in any case. Still a great hotel, but don’t count on assistance if you need help when you are not on the premises.

The staff was awesome and the area fantastic. The rooftop view amazing. I would caution though to make sure there are no stairs to your room once you get out of the elevator. We ended up with 17 stairs to get to our room. My bad as I should have asked or made it known we needed accessibility. Lesson learned. Overall we did okay.

Close to the train station and most attractions are walkable. Looks like rooms are being renovated. While our room was a good size, the bathroom was tiny and cramped - and in need of a renovation. Breakfast was good with a plenty of optons. The view from the terrace is amazing. The neighborhood is busy and noisy.

"I chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station and city center, and it proved to be an excellent decision." FYI The hotel room I was in, has the tiniest shower space I've ever experienced.

Room did not have much of a view in the standard double, and couldn’t get a upgrade do to how busy it was being Easter but that would be the only downside of it all. loved the view and drinks from the bar on top of the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was great, and hotel is located in great location close to train station and all amenities! Definitely would go back

The vibe of the place is all beautiful and bright and airy. The views from the balcony are beautiful of Florence and the vibe on the little alley on the side with the cafes and bars was lovely. The room is airy and not super congested like other European rooms I stayed in. Bathroom is not bad just a tight shower. If you’re a bigger person, like me, please upgrade to a bigger room to have a more comfortable bath and room. Staff was fantastic and very quick to respond with anything missing. Andrei was outstanding, always smiley, willing to help and give tips. The breakfast staff was lovely and helped me pack a to go box, since I was leaving so early the next day. No hot eggs or sausage but delightful baked goods, cheese and cold cuts, juice etc and all that jazz. Lovely cappuccino on demand and please save room for the chocolate Croissants baked on the spot!. Last but not least, take a few minutes to sit in the balcony and take the city in or go up to the roof for a magnificent view ❤️, Thank you everyone at Machiavelli for making this a memorable, hopefully repeatable stay :).

The hotel’s location is highly desirable, being just a mile away from most iconic landmarks. However, the hotel’s name and signage are quite small, making it easy to miss if you’re not paying close attention. Despite this minor inconvenience, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the disappointment lies in the rooms themselves. They are quite cramped, and there are no power outlets near the desk, which is a major drawback for anyone who wants to work on their laptop. However, there are power outlets on the nightstands, which is a relief for those who need to use their mobile devices. The bathroom is also quite cramped. The door opens into the shower, so it doesn’t fully open, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, there are some mold on the tiles in the shower, and since the shower is half open without a door, there’s a risk of flooding if you’re not careful. This design seems to be quite common in the area. Our particular room was poorly situated near the elevator, which resulted in a lot of noise and unwanted distractions. The plumbing from the next room or the room above was quite loud, so we could hear people using the toilet or shower. To make matters worse, there was a screaming baby nearby that was quite unpleasant.
