Romantic and cozy apartment located in the very heart of Florence in a quiet and peaceful street just behind Ponte Vecchio (50 mt). From here you can easily visit all the center by foot: walking from Ponte Vecchio, in about two minutes you reach the Uffizi Gallery(350 mt); Piazza della Signoria (500 mt) and the Duomo (800 mt) are just around the corner. However the public transport is on the street down the apartment. Around the area you can choose from a wide choice of typical Italian restaurants at good prices.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a typical building of the 13th century served by LIFT. It is 60 s.m, fully equipped and well furnished. The bedroom, with its king size bed, is bright and airy. The bathroom is nicely blue furnished and provided with clean towels and a washing machine. The spacious living room has a comfortable sofa bed convertible in a bed 1 and 1/2 size and a TV/DVD player. Charming doesn’t quite cover it - it’s such a lovely place that you are keen to spend time in it preparing for your next venture out. The location is pretty astounding really - a 1 minute walk from the south end of the Ponte Vecchio and a few minutes from the heart of Oltrarno, including Santa Spirito. There are wonderful bars, cafes, and restaurants wherever you look and away from the hustle and bustle of the other side of the bridge just a few minutes away. Check-in etc. process with Francesco is super easy too. Thanks in large part to booking this apartment, Florence is a little part of our souls now. Don’t hesitate if you’re considering it, you won’t be disappointed.

We had everything we needed and would spend the hottest part of the afternoons relaxing in the unit where we felt right at home. We had a truly fantastic stay! We were only in Florence for two nights and would've loved to stay longer. This apartment was much larger than we expected, with a really lovely living area and a kitchen. I think if we had stayed longer we would've gone to the grocery store and cooked some fun meals at home. When we go back to Florence we will definitely want to stay here again. The elevator was also great so we didn't have to drag our luggage up flights of stairs and there is AC in the bedroom and the living area, which both work great!

Terrific apartment in a perfect Florence location. All the biggest sights as well as the train station are within a short walk. Host, Francesco was super! Super timely responses to a few questions. Helped us store our bags until we could check in and we didn’t have to wait more than five minutes when we arrived. The apartment is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we ate in. The lift is super handy as is the clothes washing machine. Francesco recommended the restaurant right next door (Osteria Del Cinghiale Bianco) and it was outstanding. We could not have found a better home to spend our last three days in Italy! Thank you Francesco!

Charming apartment in the heart of Florence

Francesco’s apartment was absolutely splendid! Not only, was it in the best area to stay in Florence (in my opinion), but it was also equipped for all your traveling needs.
