This apartment is right on the Piazza Santa Croce, which is where we stayed two years ago in another nearby apartment. This flat is very spacious, with a private entrance and a good heating system. The water heats up quickly and there is a washing machine in the bathroom. The bed is large and firm, which was very comfortable, and there is also a pull-out bed in the couch. This location is great for first time tourists who want proximity to everything in historic Florence, and is also an excellent stay for returning tourists who want to dig a bit deeper without having to hike miles to get to niche places like restaurants etc.

Check in was a breeze. I was met at the apartment and the appliances were explained to us. Cozy apartment close to everything. Only used the Uber to arrive and to get to the train station. Manager stayed in constant communication before and during the entire stay.I would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect! We were able to walk to the Uffizi, the Duomo, Accademia, and more. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts relatives who greeted us were very kind and welcoming. We loved Florence so much and this apartment was perfect for us.

Great place and location

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was very well located in reference to access to transportation, restaurants, museums, attractions. It had A/C. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that I didn't like was the additional fees for taxes and cleaning. I wish both had been communicated or included in the price from the beginning. Other than that the stay was great.

Absolutely perfect location! This charming VRBO in Santa Croce is just steps away from everything in Florence — major sights, great restaurants, cafes, and local shops. Beautiful apartment with central location

Beautiful apartment that is centrally located with communicative hosts. The location was perfect, just close enough to be within walking distance to the sites but also on a quiet street. It’s really close to the Santa Croce Basilica, where Michelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli are buried. Don’t miss the school of leather behind the church, where you can get the best quality real leather goods for the most reasonable price (still expensive but you know it’s not fake). The apartment is very comfortable, and there’s a washing machine. A laundromat is around the corner where you can dry your clothes if hang-drying won’t work for you. The hosts left a bulletin board with some great restaurant suggestions, some of which we tried and loved! For those who are wondering, the apartment is up one flight of stairs. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent. 10/10, would definitely book again!

Beautiful place to stay!

This apartment used to be a 14th century nunnery and it is just beautiful! It’s very close to Santa Croce and the river and one can walk to all the historic sites! Communication with the host was excellent and the rooms were very clean! Kitchen was adequately equipped and the washing machine was great to have!

The apartment was clean and well secured. Our host’s representative was very kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable, however could really use new pillows! The location was convenient to nearly anything in Florence, we walked to our favorite cafe in just minutes.The bathroom was a challenge as are many in old buildings, very small and awkward but our complaint is that it was chilly outside and we really never had proper hot water for showers. Otherwise we were very pleased with the beautiful old building, the careful updating of the apartment and the wonderful city of Florence.

Everything in this apartment was clean and well organized! We had everything we needed to cook a quick meal and were within walking distance to all of the sights we wanted to see! The furthest sight away was the accademia but that was only a 25 minute walk..everything was well explained about the apartment and we had the best time!

Perfect Location

We were so centrally located. Right next to the Christmas Market near Santa Croce which was a wonderful surprise! We could walk everywhere. The apartment was easy and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful.
