"Beautiful property and I’d likely stay again. Just some simple things for them to adjust. We travelled for 10 days to different cities. This was the first hotel which did not have the sofa bed ready when we checked in. No big deal, they turned down the bed after I asked. Unfortunately sofa bed itself was in poor condition. The second night, I asked them for a mattress topper which they provided. Rooms are very nice but some of the light switches did not work and some bulbs were burnt out. Lastly, we were traveling with our teenage daughter. Our bathroom did not have a door which meant dad had to leave the room when she needed to shower. A bit odd that they would have put us in that style room (couples room) - or at least have it mentioned somewhere during booking or checkin. Other than that, beautiful property, nice staff and convenient to have a shuttle van to the station. Although on my y a few minutes walk from Grindelwald station - uphill."

"Nice hotel. The food in the restaurant is pricy, but great! The separate toilet is a bit annoying, but as long as you know about it in advance, it’s fine. We actually had an issue with the toilet lock on Saturday evening when it stopped working. My toiletries bag was stuck inside, and the evening staff couldn't fix it or help. However, in the morning, the manager resolved the issue and offered us 50% off our last meal. She also mentioned that they have complimentary toiletries kits available and noted it was a shame the night staff wasn't aware of them. I was happy to see the manager handle the situation so professionally, and I hope this serves as a good training opportunity for the staff for future occurrences."

"Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars."
