Los key resort that could use a renovation, but which excels at service, food, and golf. My room was fine it just doesn't have a new feel. They have signage indicating the property will be undergoing a renovation, which could make it go from good to great. But they have free guest laundry and the best cocoanut shrimp ever.

Average facility on beautiful grounds.

The grounds are beautiful and a pleasure to look at. Free self parking which was nice. We didn,'t golf but some other guests told us the course was in "fair" condition...not great. But it was end of December so I don't know what is reasonable for that time of year. The building we were in (San Diego bldg.) was a bit dated and in need of some updates. Just had a worn out feeling about it. The TV was ancient and small...to me that is a typical symptom of a facility not spending any money for updates. I mean really, what does a decent TV cost these days? The bed was not very comfortable either. HVAC was noisy and sounded like at the end of its working life. Overall our stay was ok. It was by no means gross or dirty or anything but the price wasn't bad and if we were golfers it would have been even more enjoyable I am sure. 3 out of 5 I suppose.

This is a beautiful property and we enjoyed a couple quiet days away. The hotel is in the midst of renovation which is needed. We were put in a newly redone room and it was very comfortable. Heard noise from the room above us but it did not disturb us. If you want a low key place in the hills of central Florida this is a good choice.

I did enjoy my stay. However, there was a strong oder in the room which smelled like mildew. The air in the roon was causing headaches and joint pain. The grounds are beautiful.
