The room smelled. The fold out bed was dirty and smelled. The carpet was gross. On the positive side, the night clerk was very nice and helpful. The bathroom was clean. Good location for access to U of O.

They were very accommodating.let me check in early.shower a little dated but for the price I can’t complain.at least it was clean.girls behind the desk were awesome.2nd time staying there and probably be back.mahalo!

Older motel that has been well taken care of. Room was small but perfect for 2 adults. Came with a mini-fridge and microwave that we didn't expect but used since it was available. Continental breakfast included in rate. Wasn't sure how it would work in the small lobby, but it did. Pool area clean and was refreshing at the end of a long day. Would have been nice if the a/c had been turned on in the room prior to our arrival, however it did cool down quickly. Convenient location with easy access to downtown and freeway.

A dive with pretentious desk staff

Pros: The housekeeping staff are hard working and friendly.
Clean and the housekeepers are friendly and work hard but the rooms are small and shabby. The hotel policies allow the desk staff to randomly require a 250 dollar deposit from pretty much anyone they decide they don't like, There's a whole list of things they can use as excuses. So just because you made a reservation doesn't mean they will check you in when you get there. For a place whose only virtue is that it is inexpensive and reasonably clean it is definitely not worth the hassle. Yelp reviews show that several people have gotten hit with this random 250 deposit deal, all for different reasons. I'd stayed there five days previously and everything was fine. Then I made a reservation for the return leg of my trip, when I arrived my registered service dog (with documentation and who I'd included in the reservation information as I always do) was a problem, but the very young lady claimed she was requiring the deposit because I have a local mail service address and for some reason if you are local, you can be charged this fee, and no she wouldn't let me speak to the manager. Then she told me she was cancelling my reservation because I only had cash to make this absurd deposit with and "they don't take cash". After I'd checked into another place, I did contact the manager and was informed that his desk clerk was "following policy". So having a reservation and paying for your accommodations ahead of time doesn't mean you have a room when you get there.

In a pleasant quiet area a short drive town

Pros: As above
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Ashland is a tourist town with the Annual Shakespeare Festival in the fall. Lots of excellent restaurants, a Brewery, many boutique stores.
Very comfortable beds. Rooms are fresh smelling, light and bright. Breakfast buffet was much more than I had expected. 5 minutes to downtown Ashland so away from the noise. Also there was no traffic noise even thought the motel is very close to I5. Outside lawn areas with chairs. An all around pleasant experience.

Last minute lodging

Broadway Inn will turn 100 in 2017. I am sure its ownership and look has changed a number of times over their century. Broadway Inn 2016 staff are accommodating and friendly. They seem to do a great job holding their Inn together. A great value for services received. All the best in 2017

Nice folks in worn surroundings

Pros: Less expensive than other Eugene hotels
Cons: Better sheets that fit the beds (full sized sheets on queen beds). Vacuum the floors. Wider shower.
Location: Good location - walking distance to University of Oregon and downtown. Walked to Bijou Metro to see a movie and Hirons to buy gifts.
The staff was very nice but the hotel could use an upgrade. Although we wouldn't recommend this hotel, we would stay in it again if necessary.
