We were there for the USC - Oregon game. We (USC) lost but our stay at Valley River Inn was a big win! Room was large and clean with many amenities such as double sinks, coffee, tea, large TV, balcony and convenient and free parking. Hotel is across from a mall and many restaurants. We were walking distance to Autzen Stadium. Willamette River runs right outside the restaurant which had a great menu, service - and the bar was fantastic! Great martinis, Manhattans after the game! Nice, large fireplace in the lobby area - was perfect for a nightcap!

We were on the first floor; guests above us were partying all night till at least 2 am. I’m not sure how many people were in the room, or if drugs were involved, since we could hear the toilet flushing all night as well. Management refused to do anything. It was a horrible experience. Never again!!!!

I was just passing through town and my stay there was better than expected. Wonderful employees and a shopping complex and restaurants within walking distance. That being said I ate at the Hotel restaurant and it was very good.

This property is gorgeous. The lobby is extravagant. The view of the river is a treat. The room itself is clean and filled with luxury amenities, including a smart tv that you can use your own streaming services. Breakfast was not provided for free but the in hotel restaurant was delightful.
