The attendant at the front desk was very helpful. 5 stars for him. The first room we got smelled like cigarette smoke and he moved us to another room that was better. He even said we could cancel if we wanted to stay somewhere else. The room was very basic but adequate. Air conditioner and shower were great. The floors were filthy, though.

The room we stayed in had a beautiful tub with jets. Everything about the room was top-notch. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was especially friendly and helpful. In short, it was all great. I highly recommend the Cottage Grove Inn, and intend to stay there again when traveling in the area. Oh, and the price was surprisingly low!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The motel was well staffed with people who showed they really cared. The accommodations were perfect for us. The room was quiet, very well formatted with a davenport, office desk with chair, and an extra reading chair. The floor was a nicely colored carpet, and the plumbing and shower were all reasonably new. The room also included a Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator and 30" tv. The morning breakfast was extremely good. The building was painted recently, but included rather poor landscaping, and malfunctioning entry/exit doors.

The elevator shaft was on the other side of my bed wall, and on ground level. The elevator motor was extremely loud and kept me up all night. The exterior doors on the second floor that open to an elevated breezeway between buildings are not up to fire code. They should automatically close behind you. The springs were broken.

The convenience to the highway is nice but any decent restaurants are not with-in walking distance and old town is also not with-in walking distance. Our room at the hotel was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Parking was convenient as well.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable. There were a few stains on the arm chair and in the tub, but other than that it was clean. Glad we could stay here on short notice and it was a good value.

Restful, relaxing stay

Wonder hotel, older but, nice. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite, not luxurious but comfortable and for the price point, awesome. Had a great, relaxing soak, rested well. Breakfast was good, cook is a wonderful, friendly Lady! Will stay here again

Very clean, great value

Spotless clean rooms, great value. Decent breakfast but gets slow when there is a crowd. Dog friendly rooms and grassy areas around for walking. Big disappointment is no pool which was in the description, it’s out of order .
