Cape Point Hotel
Quite a nice place for the price. Big room with a balcony, good restaurant, minutes from the beach. Different types of outlets in the room so you don’t need a converter. Male staff members trying to chat you up are very annoying, so maybe not the most ideal for solo female travelers.

The Laico Atlantic Banjul is the closest accommodation to the downtown precinct of Essau and the sole accommodation within easy driving distance.
12 miles (20 kilometers) away from the center of Essau, you will come across the Kairaba Beach Hotel. Alternatively, the Wavecrest Hotel Gambia- Apartments is 11 miles (18 kilometers) away.
