Near-perfect family property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and it provided a near-perfect home base for our family's spring break trip. The road up to the property is a little sketchy, the septic tank required parents to keep an extra close eye on how the kids used plumbed fixtures and there was some anxiety around the various fines that could be issued due to damage to or misuse of the amenities. We also found that some of the cookware was not clean. That being said, we would absolutely stay again.

Amazing view

The house has plenty of room for multipleGuests but my family of 4 fully enjoyed the space! The game room gave us hands on family activities to engage in. Heating the pool was key in February as it was too cold to swim in unheated. At least 10 degrees warmer in the mountains than near the ocean. Pictures made it look like the Nieghbors were more distant but still very private and the peopleClose by were very friendly.

The house has everything you need. We were treated each night to stunning sunsets and then family games night in the well equipped games room. We have made special memories at this wonderful family retreat. Fantastic communication with the host from beginning to end.

Wonderful property

Our family had a exceptionally wonderful stay at Mo's property. The pictures don't do it justice. Unbelievable views and a tastefully furnished home. All the comforts and supplies we needed and any questions were answered immediately. Definitely perfect for a generational vacation.

Perfect for families with kids!

Lovely outdoor space with pool, hot tub, and eating area/bbq. The game room was a big hit especially with the kids. The bedrooms were spacious and all had their own bathroom which was another plus! Owners were very responsive during our stay and we would definitely come back!

Lovely house in the hills

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, the pool and hot tub were great, the game room was so fun, and the yard was beautiful and even had fruit trees. The owners were very helpful during our stay and easy to communicate with. Aside from a few minor issues our stay was fabulous. Only thing I’d suggest is adding a dresser to the second bedroom upstairs for storage since there’s no closet. Otherwise the house is perfect. We had 4 adults and 1 child with us and we all fit comfortably with room to spare. If we come back to the San Diego area in the future I would definitely rent this home again!

Great time at the Hilltop Getaway!

Our group of 8 had a lovely time at the Hilltop Getaway. Wonderful sunset views each evening. Game room got a lot of use by the kids and adults with a variety of games to give everyone something to do. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing with a nice outdoor patio area for grilling and chilling. Very responsive property manager throughout the process.

Amazing Getaway!

We had such a fun time at this amazing home. From the beautiful views to the pool and gaming room, it was awesome. The house had plenty of space to spread out for all of the family. We hope to be back again soon!

Good time in Escondido

Had a great time. House is a bit off the beaten path, but worth it. Great views from the property and outdoor play house was awesome. Seems like a lot of rules, but mostly just Common sense things.

All in one resort

It was a fantastic place to stay. This place has it all. The game room for everyone ages 8 to 88, the pool was amazing - the hot tub was the perfect ending to every night before bed. The bedrooms and bathroom were spacious, the kitchen wasn't truly used - as we cooked outside. The refrigerator had plenty of room- the ice maker was not working. Would definitely stay here again and again!

The house was great. Perfect for the whole family our favorite part was the pool and also how quick Mo Rashid responded when we asked for the pool to be heated. Overall all it’s 5 stars for us. We also loved the view.

The house was amazing! Very roomy and well decorated. We loved the pool, hot tube and game room!

The house was a nicely situated up a short mountain drive which added a sense of privacy. It was very clean with a few exceptions. Lots and of rules to follow and we did our best to comply with our large group of 16. The outside landscaping is a work in progress as we where there early in the season.. The pool was very clean and well maintained. Overall a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Experience

I would highly recommend this house and manager. They are highly responsive and addressed a minor issue we had very quickly. The property is great. Our family had one of the best VRBO experiences we have ever had

This property was just as beautiful as the photos. Mo what is a terrific host and answered any questions we had very promptly. Rooms are all spacious. Each has its own large en suite bathroom. Was a perfect place for our family gathering.

Great location with plenty of space for all.

What a great experience. This property is super nice! First night we sat outside by the pool had dinner, wine and talked till late. Did not have to worry about the young ones as the location had plenty for them to do. We had a ball, no pun intended, just relaxing with family members at the game room.
