"Very friendly people at the front desk. Nice location for walking to a few restaurants that are really great and coffee shop as well! Has a rinse station/shower so you don't have to wait your turn in line at the one at the beach. It is not exactly beachfront, but it is a quick walk to the beach access which is right next to Surf's Up Grill. We enjoyed our stay!"

"First time in Emerald Isle, house exceeded expectations!Upon entering, first thing we noticed is that the rooms are larger than the photos and it was exceptionally clean. My requirements are: enough bedrooms for 5 adults, close to beach access (and the lifeguard is two blocks away) and a pool (the ocean was warmer than usual but rough, as usual). Also needs to be in a quiet community and the trees added privacy. And the screened in porch was an added bonus! We could sit outside and listen to the ocean in the evening and not end up bit by mosquitoes. It was within walking distance to an ice cream shop and mini golf and very close a shopping plaza with 2 grocery stores, gift shops and restaurants. If you haven’t been there previously, the visitors center is just a few blocks away has a lot of information, especially on ferries. Cape Lookout lighthouse is under renovation and covered in scaffolding, so it was suggested that we go to Fort Macon and Beaufort instead. We did both and had a great time!"
