Major road construction on main road; many businesses closed (permanently) or just not open at 4 p.m. on a weekday—just run down. Hotel Nevada is a shining jewel amidst all of it! While the hotel and casino are old, our room was remodeled and was one of the nicer rooms we’ve stayed in out of the last 14 days travelling!

This is just an old property; but, it was clean and the bed was comfy…and I received a drink coupon and a $5 off coupon for Denny’s which was their in casino restaurant…both unexpected. The tub was old and a little rusty and the toilet was low. The entire staff was lovely and very helpful!!

At about 830 or 9 it sounded like a generator started up and it stayed on all night. Thought about calling tje drsk but it was audible throughout and outside. Im guessing a generator. Impossible to sleep. Ceiling in real bad repair. I understand its an old building but not what the picturs show. Is it haunted? My bed kep shaking lol. Anyway the nois and bleach could be used on linen

We did not get the room as advertised but they upgraded us with no charge. I didn’t realize there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room( my fault The dennys was good. Won’t be back to this hotel ever. Not what I expected.

The hotel is in the process (I think) of remodeling the rooms. Our WAS NOT remodeled. The Room was the size of a postage stamp, barely fitting a Queen bed. The bathroom was just slightly wider than a toilet with a tiny shower that dripped constantly. The room was clean. We had a neighbor that showed us their room which was beautiful and updated. I wouldn’t count the room out but definitely recommend asking about the room you are booking before doing so.

Small room: No microwave, fridge or desk.

My daughter and I stayed in a double queen room. Everything was fine except that the room was a bit on the small side and lacking of what you would normally expect for the price: No microwave, no fridge, no desk I guess because there wasn't enough square footage for them. The sink in the bathroom was tiny, like what you would find in an RV. The hotel was built in 1929 so maybe people and their expectations were smaller back then.

What a classic place! Great small town casino hotel with beautifully updated rooms. Stayed here 25 years ago and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms are without losing any of the classic vibe downstairs or outside. Thanks for a great stay!

This is our second time staying at this historic hotel. Our room was spiffy but small, particularly the bathroom. For a very old hotel, they did a good job of providing electrical outlets. Gambling was so so. They have a good variety of machines.
