Got charged $95 when I checked in for room damage fee but was never reimbursed even though it was left in perfect shape. Nobody will talk to me aboit it, will never stay there again and was a regular customer.

Manager told us one thing, we’ve yet to see it.

We arrived at the hotel at around 5:00. Check-in time was 4:00 yet we had to wait over half an our to get access to our room, not getting in until 5:30. Half of the water park was shut down for part of our stay. The manager took our name and room information and said we would be receiving 1/2 off of our stay. We have not received any reimbursement yet, even though it has been over 2 weeks. Another option was to get a free night's stay. We did not receive a certificate or anything for a free night either.

It is fun and very enjoyable for the family! But I just don’t understand why they would charge you for parking in their parking lot ? You already pay an enormous amount to stay and high prices for everything in their hotel and I’m not complaining about that but then be charged to Park your car? Why where would they expect you to park ? Their a Hotel usually parking in their parking lot comes with renting a room !

Amazing experience for our family. We can’t wait to come back soon. The room was extremely clean. The wrist band room charge was spectacular so we didn’t have to carry around our wallets. Story time at 8pm was a perfect way to calm the kids before heading back to our room. Dance party’s were a blast! Of course the water park was hours of fun nice and warm. Over all I highly recommend experiencing great wolf lodge with your family

Great place for families. The staff are kind and helpful. Check in lines can be extremely long and even though I got an email inviting me to check in online, it didn’t work. They also started charging $15/night for parking which I wasn’t expecting.

The experience is nice and the facilities are well-kept. We were truly disappointed with the cost of everything, though. ANYTHING extra is so expensive. Want to do the adventure? $25 (we have three kids, so $75 min). Want to go to the arcade? $50 to make it worth it. Want to mini bowl? $24 for 6, $4/additional player. Snacks and food on the property are also higher in cost, so the best bet is to go across the road to the grocery store or to any of the local restaurants. It would be smart for the property to just do big buffet breakfasts, especially with kids being the main guests. Throw some pancakes, eggs, and sausage in buffet tins and hot coffee with creamers and you've just hit made everyone's stay. The coffee in the room-- not good. How crazy that parents are going non-stop for 2 days and the coffee is watery?! We added two pre-filled packets to each brew and it still was not enough. Is the propety fun? Yes. Our kids had fun. The waterpark kept all kids happy. Is it convenient? Yes. It is right by everything the Traverse City area has to offer. Worth it once? Maybe, as long as you get the coupon/Groupon!
