Restaurant was good except did not have on hand an English menu for those who dont speak Spanish, French or Portuguese...Front desk helped out here by printing one off. ..."

Plan ahead, as there aren't many room options on Travelocity in or around Eljas.
The Hospedería Conventual Sierra de Gata is the closest to central Eljas and the only place to stay within a short drive.
A couple of places worth investigating are the Ô Hotel Fonte Santa and the Cró Hotel Rural. The Ô Hotel Fonte Santa is located 16 miles (25 kilometers) from downtown Eljas. If you have time, walk across the stone arched bridge and enjoy the beautiful park on the other side. There are food stores, restaurants and everything you need - and the hotel it itself was great."
