Let’s start with I show up to property at 243pm and I’m told my room IS ready but there would be a $35 charge for early check in…. 17 min??? Listen, I get rules and such but really?! For 17 minutes. The staff could see we had all our belongings there, the room was ready, make an exception, maybe?? But ok fine, I paid the stupid fee because we had just driven 6 hours and I wasn’t sitting down waiting 17 minutes to throw myself on the bed. The town is a farm town! We were there for Etown College tour. It’s poor and rundown and not much to see or do. So we go back to hotel so we can get some much needed sleep. 10pm we’re awoken to yelling, laughing, running down the hall (like a herd of elephants). I look through the peephole to find 5-6 people of maybe 18-23 year olds. They are yelling and slamming doors, laughing and all in all being drunk jerks. I was young once too but it was a Sunday night after 10 pm in a hotel that obviously had families. And they just so happened to be in the rooms directly across from me. But the worst part was waking up the next morning to find a bag of puke outside their door (and mine) and puke all over the stairs in front of my room. The staff did NOTHING!!! They don’t have “quite hours” as I was told. How about some respect??? I’m far from the “Karen” type but cmon!!! It’s a cheap, roadside motel like place and not a 5 star resort… but it’s still a place of business and should try to accommodate their guests.
