Staff is friendly, hotel has a very good restaurant, and room (with kitchenette) was well equipped. Enjoyed the rainfall shower and soaker bathtub. A couple of recommended changes would be having a refrigerator with a separate freezer and TV service with more options/channels.

I booked this hotel for a solo weekend trip in Edmonton, was happy with the price point and the cleanliness of the hotel and my first night was satisfactory. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious, and location was convenient. However my second night stay I was woken up just after midnight to the sound of running water which was pouring from the ceiling and the light fixtures a few feet away from my bed. The front desk attendants response was underwhelming. I was told to come downstairs to retrieve my new key for a new room for the night and a $20 voucher good for one day only at the hotel restaurant. I was in my pajamas and had to request they bring the key up to my room instead. The keys provided worked for the new room, but did not work for the stairwell, leaving me no choice but to go down 6 flights of stairs and outside in -10 degrees in pjs, and walk around the building to get back into the lobby. After replacing the new keys, I had to pack up my belongings and move to the new room at nearly 1 am. Checkout the next morning I was told I’d be sent a free nights stay as a form of “refund” for the experience but never heard back. Overall a disappointing experience.

Overall it’s decent. However, it was not quiet and even after calling the front desk to ask the room upstairs to quit thundering around it continued until after 11pm and started again around 4am which made for a not great experience. You can hear everyone go by in the halls and doors near yours open and close all the time. Also the chemicals in the pool were very intense, I didn’t even go in the pool and it was hard on my eyes. Not sure if we would stay here again. Room was very clean which was great, AC worked well, beds comfy, so no complaints there.
