Room was clean and staff were fantastic. We got a king bed with a pull out sofa bed for our 5 year old, only real complaint was that their was an adjoining door but only AC in the main bedroom so it was hard to cool off the area with the sofa bed. Generally not an issue in Alberta but late August was hot. Some of our neighbors were fairly loud all night long, definitely not the hotels fault but feels like the walls are thin. Water slide was awesome, perfect for our little guy with a life jacket. Steam room and water features were functional, but at least the slide and hot tub were good. Breakfast was actually pretty impressive, good variety and fresh. Pancakes, waffles, toast, eggs, sausage, tots… cereal, fruit, yogurt. Everything you’d expect at a buffet. Staff doing breakfast were also awesome. Overall good value for your money.

While the hotel presents itself as modern and upgraded, there were a few basic things that would be better served than a fancy kitchenette. First, the sink in the bathroom and tub don't drain. Obviously they're starting to get plugged from overuse, but no one is checking to see how backed up they are. Its kind of gross standing in a puddle in the shower when the plug isn't in! Second, there was no shampoo. Just two lotions and a conditioner. Minor, yes. Especially as I only needed to stay two nights. But its these simple things that leave more of an impression than the fancy chair in the corner that only got used to hold all the extra pillows on the bed. Speaking of pillows, they're all the same. The same puffiness, the same thickness, the same uncomfortableness. There were 4 pillows on each bed. Surely one or two could've been a bit smaller/flatter? Anyway, the staff were great and the building was very clean. I guess though I would rather see some basic housekeeping efforts take more priority than the fancy decor.

Such a wonderful place to stay. When we registered, there was a slight mechanical issue with our room so they upgraded us to the best room we have ever stayed. It was incredible. So much room! Beds were incredibly comfortable. We had a two person tub with a separate shower. A large couch and two beautiful chairs in the other room made visiting so easy and enjoyable. Most of all, we were so impressed with the service we received at the front desk. Scott and Spencer were so welcoming and helpful. They truly made you feel welcomed! The hotel definitely needs more staff like them! This will be the only hotel we will stay at when visiting family and friends in Stony Plain. Thanks again for such a wonderful stay!!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay, although when we were trying to check in at 3:35pm the room was not ready yet and we had to wait for another half an hour to go in. The receptionist was kind enough to give us $25 gift certificate which we used in the lounge to buy some dinner. The waterfall umbrella was broken which was upsetting for the kids as well. The worst part of the stay was the lady in the kitchen. She was so rude to the guests and whenever someone tries to ask her something she answers in a very unprofessional way. She was an older lady, quite large in size but I didn't get her name. Hopefully the manager can do something about her attitude. We went down around 9:30 am that morning so maybe she was tired already but then again, that was the worst service I ever encountered and I have been going to different hotels for more than a decade.

The hotel was nice and in a good area. Ships around and easy to get to. Only complaints is that the wifi didn’t work, and unable to connect anything to the tv. Tv also didn’t have sound. We called front desk regarding this and they sent up Maitenance, he wasn’t very friendly and told us that he would reset the router, but doubt it’ll help.
