The host is very welcoming, and she communicates very well. She made sure I was well-accommodated at all time and enjoyed my stay. The house itself is very large, and it sleeps 12 people comfortably, which is really impressive. Large closets upstairs was a cool feature as well. The island the home is on, Campbell’s island, is also really cool and kind of secluded from the rest of East Moline but still close to everything. My group and I didn’t get to use the pool in the backyard because we went at the end of October, but some of used the weights in the sunroom. The host was awesome, and there’s plenty to do at the house and in the surrounding area!

8 guys met here in quad cities to play golf for 4 days. The house was the perfect size. Everyone had their own bed. We enjoyed the ping pong/pool table a great deal, and had a poker game on the huge dining room table. There were reviews that the upstairs rooms were hot in hot weather. Window air units have been installedin both bedrooms and the game room and we slept quite comfortably on an unseasonably warm weekend.

I was not impressed with the cleaning that had been performed before our stay (considering the Cleaning Fee charge amount -- there was multiple issues --primarily outside but also inside -- Pool deck -- dozens of cigarette butts in the 2 sand pot ashtrays / bottle caps / gum -- several / ribbon -- Lower level cigarette lighter / cans / bottles / lip glass / plastic cup / trash --Load of towels and sheets still in dryer (but glad they were dry) --Main bedroom bathroom -- dozens of small bugs (dead and alive) --Other main floor bathroom -- bugs and ants --Dishwasher silverware basket -- 6-10 pieces of hard food / cheese stuck in the bottom --Large frying pan -- not clean -- realized after I had put a dozen eggs in and stirring -- black pieces came in the eggs (no salt/pepper added) After looking at larger piece -- did not feel was not Teflon from the pan but burnt food? Started taking pictures after realizing that there were multiple issues -- which I will send in text.After re-reading your text messages regarding if your Cleaning and Yard Maintenance staff – I am not sure why the yard / pool area and house cleaning were not completed. I asked if they had informed you regarding not completing their job and if you paid them. You did not answer either question. You text the yard staff said it was raining heavily so they could not could not do their job. It did not rain Friday until after we arrived late afternoon. It did not rain Thursday until the evening (my daughter was

Family Vacation

The pool was our main reason for booking. We were not disappointed. A beautiful pool! The house was spacious but the a/c didn’t work in the 2nd floor bedrooms very well. It was 90 degrees out. A perfect place for our family to hangout!

the home was very spacious, giving us ample room to hold our family reunion. Due to storms, we were only able to use the pool one day, but our great niece had fun swimming.We appreciated the easy access to grocery stores, as we came in from North Caroline and not familiar with the area.

Premium price for low end property

The house is equipped to sleep a large number of guests; however, the poor HVAC set up rendered the upstairs bedrooms unusable, as it was unbearably hot. The whole house could use a thorough cleaning. Kitchen cabinets hadn’t been wiped out in who knows how long, and the dishes needed washed before using. Upstairs carpet, gross. Dates and well worn appliances and finishes. We found some thumb tacks lying loose on the floor, thankfully before my 13 month old granddaughter did. The deck and pool area is the best part of the house. Very spacious and the pool is well maintained and clean. The river view is limited. The main view is a mossy, mosquito filled slough, and the junkyard of a property next door. Bring your bug spray or the mosquitos will carry you off.

Family Getaway

This was the perfect house for our family getaway. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool and deck were perfect for the extremely hot weather during our trip. The A/C was not working when we arrived. The owner was prompt in responding and having it repaired. Couldn’t have asked for a better time with family! We will be back next year!

Tad bit out dated smelled old when arriving no lights out front porch very dangerous with the step. Raccoon took over both nites out bac climbing from roof. Watching your every move was also wierd with cameras rolling

Great location

Was in the QCA for floatzilla and stayed at this property just at the start of campbells island. The house was large and comfortable. Everything you need to cook and eat in. The host was very friendly and responsive.

2024 family trip

We had such an amazing family trip at this home. Plenty of space for everyone, the pool and deck area were perfect for what we were looking for- relaxing and enjoying time together. The owner was very attentive and responsive. We will be back next year.

Great Property

Loved the location of the house, just a short drive to many places in the Quad Cities but still felt secluded. There were 11 of us and plenty of places to sleep and plenty of extra bedding and towels were provided. Everyone loved the ping pong/pool table, but the biggest highlight was the pool. The entire pool is the same depth, probably around 4 1/2 feet, so it was perfect for all of the kids. It was hard to get them to leave the pool long enough to do anything else!

Nice enough place, but.....

The stay was nice enough, but after the stay we were notified that a claim for damage was made against the insurance we were required to get when making the reservations. It was for $425 for an old bar chair that was claimed to be purchased for $450. This chair was in rough shape when we got there. My advice if you stay here is to take a picture of the broken mailbox, duct-taped electrical outlets on the porch, rips in the upstairs screens, "complimentary" food left in the refrigerator, collections of junk in the garage and kids clothing hanging upstairs, and anything else that you may be blamed for breaking or messing with while there. I am not aware if this claim affected my credit rating or had any other impact to me, but this is the first time I have ever been required to get separate insurance for a VRBO (only done a dozen or so of them).

Great for large family

We loved staying here. Lots of options to sleep many people as well as many common areas to enjoy. We also loved the pool right on the river. Great views! May need to bring extra trash bags for large groups otherwise it was pretty well stocked and a great Island House.

Mississippi River Views with a Pool

Excellent location and easy to access. Beautiful home with flexible sleeping accomodations for a large group. Deck and pool are wonderful amenities along with game room with pool/ping pong table. Great layout to accommodate various age small groups/gatherings. Close to the river with some nice views. Limited fishing is available from the back of property. Generally clean and well maintained. Experienced some issues in regulating air temperature throughout all the spaces. Water pressure was an issue from time to time with 8 in residence. Dishwasher was not in working order. Insufficient supplies like dish detergent, dish soap, and garbage bags for the stay. Refrigerator had trouble maintaining temp and producing ice. Missing shelves in freezer made it difficult to store items. Be sure to bring your own coolers for drinks and purchase plenty of ice. Nice bar set up but no wet bar or refrigeration. Propane tank provided but be prepared to fill the tank if using the grill. Single large screen TV with limited channel access and internet. Two car garage is mostly for storage and would not accommodate our F-150 truck. Great set up for fun times with family and friends!!! Special thanks to the host for their flexibility in allowing additional family as guests during our stay for an additional fee.

Spacious and fun!

We rented this for a graduation party and it was perfect. There is a ton of space to spread out, so it didn't ever seem like we were on top of each other. Driveway is large enough to fit several cars. I had a ton of questions, and the owner was very responsive to all of them. I will definitely be a repeat guest!
