Crimson Cliff 2ownhome - Views - 4 Miles to Downtown - Central AC (30+ Stay)

Our 1,500 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Crimson Cliff townhome (Unit 8) is situated near the Animas River just 4 miles north of downtown Durango and 25 miles from Durango Mountain Resort (25 minutes). This home offers an ideal location with incomparable views of the Animas River Valley, and immediate access to the resort area without having to drive through town to get to trails, national forest land and the ski area. Note a minimum 30 night stay is required.

The Durango Trolley stops right in front of the home every 20 minutes making it convenient to get downtown without having to drive or park and the tourist train (Durango Silverton Railroad) passes the right by the townhome.

The kitchen features high end appliances and there is central AC for the occasional warm summer days. There is 1 parking spot available in the garage with an additional parking space in front of garage (parallel) or right across from the townhome are numerous guest parking spots which are always available. The TVs in the Main Living Space and Master Bedroom have cable and streaming capability while the TV in he queen bedroom has streaming capability.

The Crimson Cliff complex includes a private park with sand volleyball court, playground equipment, nine-hole mini-golf, small pond, fire pit and a gravel walking track around the large lawn.

River Front Cabin on 1 acre - moved to Townhome in Durango

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After a terrible experience at the original property we rented for our 5 day trip to Durango with our 3 grandchildren, VRC moved us to this lovely townhome. The original property called "River Front Cabin on 1 acre" was just awful - mouse infested, very small common areas, no cable, no wifi, weird floors that weren't carpeted but concrete, extremely narrow dangerous stairs. A terrible experience. I called VCR - at first they implied they'd get someone out the following day to manage the mouse problem. I told them that was unacceptable, we were leaving the property immediately and they needed to take care of us by providing a place to stay. After some back and forth, they finally agreed to move us immediately. The new accommodations were excellent. I just feel concerned that VRC was not going to help us move until after I pressed the issue. The rest of our stay was wonderful. I gave everything a 2 star rating because of the issues with the original property, VRC's lack of urgency to move us when I called about the mouse infestation, the overall state of the original property (very disatisfied in all aspects). Once the VRC rep realized I was not going to accept staying another minute at the property, his demeanor changed and was more than accommodating and helpful.
