We picked this hotel with the location in mind, that being said I felt like even though it is a very busy area late into the night, our room was quiet enough. It was also comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. There is a parking garage across the street which was convenient as well.

Thanksgiving at the Morgan

Great location...proximity to everything within walking distance. Although it can be a bit noisey at nights with all the activity on the street, still would stay here again

For the price paid, this hotel was horrible.

Where do I begin? One outlet for the entire small, cramped room. Poorly painted and maintained room, Windows that don't lock, a phone that looks like it was thrown from the window .... Terrible for the price of over 190.00 euro.

Cons: If there was a free bottle of water in the room, I missed it. I think free drinking water should be in every guest room.
Location: Temple Bar neighborhood, steps from Trinity College and Grafton Street... so many things to do nearby!
I stayed at The Morgan Dublin for just one night... spent most of the time in my room since I needed to unwind from my time being on the road. The room was very small (I booked a single), but super comfortable, clean, and amazingly quiet for being in the Temple Bar neighborhood... I barely heard any noise from outside. The location can't be beat, as it is close to lively bars with music, tourist attractions, public transportation, shopping, etc. Friendly staff. Free in-room wi-fi. I love the lobby elevator door (is that strange to say?). And the room rate wasn't terrible for the location. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a convenient and comfortable place to sleep in the middle of Dublin.

Convenient, Modern Hotel

Pros: Convenient location, great value, clean and comfortable rooms
Cons: It's in Temple Bar, so it is SO LOUD outside all hours of the night from all of the pub-goers in the neighborhood.
Location: Very convenient location in Temple Bar close to tons of restaurants and pubs, as well as many Dublin sights and attractions.
The Morgan was a nice modern hotel in a very convenient location. The staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating.

Party street, but surprisingly quiet rooms

Pros: Staff, Location, aesthetic
Cons: The bathroom floors were a little dirty
Location: Right on Temple Bar so the nights are always full of live music and back to back bars. Strip of excellent restaurants around the block and near river
This was our first time in Dublin and we wanted to be in the middle of the artistic (and nightlife dare I say) centre. My companion and I like to have fun, but we were quite keen on sightseeing as well so treasured sleep in a comfortable bed in a quiet room. We were concerned that the music and partying on the streets below would keep us awake, but the windows were relatively sound blocking and the hotel provided ear plugs. What really made this hotel special was the concierge/reception who were eager to help and had amazing recommendations (restaurants, interesting cocktail, music, sightseeing tours, museums, bus schedules, etc.). We even requested a room change as we wanted twin beds and they were very helpful and offered us a room when it became available. Great staff that made the trip even better than expected!

Great Location, Pretty Expensive though, but Nice.

My husband and I stayed from July 22-26 2009 for the U2 Concert and for vacation. The location is absolutely wonderful if you like the nightlife. It is right in the middle of Temple Bar. The hotel was very fashionable and their buffet breakfast was great. Their staff was very friendly and helpful, however they were fairly disorganized. When we arrived they had mixed up our reservation with someone else and took us to their room, a Deluxe room which was very nice, but we had paid (now thinking over paid) for a Suite. We notified them and they corrected it immediately so no big deal. Our Suite was huge though, but in hind sight I would have saved the $500 difference between the Deluxe room and the Suite. Also, the key cards kept getting deactivated everytime we left the hotel and would have to go by the front desk at least 2x daily to have them reactiviated. FYI, they do not have AC in the hotel at all, so make sure you have plenty of windows to open up so it doesn't get too stuffy. I would stay at this hotel again, but probably in one of the other rooms. Also, the bar gets crazy and is dress to impress, so if you are not into that, do not stay here. I think the establishment is more about the bar than the hotel actually. In any event it was a great trip
