My check-in experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived at the hotel and walked up to the front desk, Jestin and Nacho didn’t greet me at all—not even a simple “hi.” They didn’t even look at me. I stood at the counter for quite a while, yet both of them continued chatting with each other, completely ignoring my presence and leaving me waiting there. It wasn’t until about five minutes later that they finally started the check-in process. For a hotel front desk, this level of service and lack of basic courtesy is really unprofessional. Overall, my first impression of the hotel was severely affected. I genuinely hope the hotel will address this issue and improve the service quality of its staff.

Staycity Dublin is a well staffed but no frills hotel. You get what you expect for the cost you pay. Limited service, limited luxury but clean and practical. TV in room could be better allowing to play apps like YouTube / Nextflix etc. Dinner range is extremely limited. But good staff and look after you to the best of their ability.

Great hotel, good location within walking distance of many of the main attractions and 2 mins to Tara station. Our studio apartment was perfect for 2 adults and a child and the small kitchen was a useful addition. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

This was not reminiscent of the first time we stayed with Staycity. The room had a smell of cigarette , some of the staff were pleasant but a lot of them were not, one of the elevators were broken, tv didn’t work properly, tried to use the microwave and it started smoking, and now they are nickle and diming guests for use of an umbrella. Also we were charged 20 euro for a minor early check in, the room was ready .. was it necessary to add the charge? We did just fly 3000 miles to be there. Also are quiet times regulated at all?? Loud party type noise in hallways outside our room in all hours randomly.

The hotel was in a great location & a good spacious room, however, we arrived at 15:05 and were told our room was not ready- we then had to wait 50 minutes for our room to become available. The reception staff were very apologetic & did offer a free drink and late checkout, but paying £280 for one night in a hotel room is extremely expensive, especially when we can’t get in our room when we had plans for the early evening.

The staff are great! They helped us get tickets for experiences we wanted to do. They made changes and got us a room before check in time. They made sure we got a taxi in time to go to the airport. The hotel is clean and modern. This location is walking distance to Heuston train station and Guinness
