"This is a relic of Japan’s best days…..a throwback to the 80s/90s when Japan ruled the world. Structure was over the top huge but when I looked at it, it made me think how Japan is all has fallen so far. And in that way, it made me feel so sorrowful because I love Japan. But it was in need of updating. The spaces felt liminal and brought back vague memories of what things used to be. Like visiting aunt Gertrude’s house in Yorba Linda… OK The shower pressure was a symbol of greatness. When the water hit, I thought of the Japanese bosses saying to the builders to “spare no expense” on making that world class. However, the shower door, the floor and everything else in the bathroom was straight out of the 80s. When the water hit the shower door and left behind a massive puddle and that’s not high class at all. The food in the cafeteria was excellent. This wasn’t any foreigners that I could see and they even had an onigiri station I have no complaints at all about their cafeteria. It’s so legit in the view from the area with the buildings around it look great, I cannot complain."
