Emerald Beach Resort
"I had a fantastic stay. I loved this hotel. I stayed during a 3 night solo trip. This is not a “fancy” hotel by any means, but it is very nice, beautiful, comfortable, and accommodating. My room was very nice. King size bed was very comfortable. I had a balcony and a perfect view of the sea. The housekeeping was great. Front desk staff was warm, friendly, accommodating. Beach access was great. I arrived on a Sunday. The beach was very chill and not crowded at all Sunday or Monday. Tuesday the cruise ship people arrived and it did get very crowded during the day. They left in the late afternoon/early evening. Wednesday was busy by 10am due to the cruise people. That was kind of annoying but unavoidable. The annoyance was more so not being able to get a seat at the bar and slower food service. There’s only one restaurant on site, which is where I ate all my meals, so this affected me a bit. My only other complaint was the roosters crowing non stop starting at 4:45am but I just turned my tv volume up and went back to sleep. I gave 5 stars because overall I felt the resort earned that!"
