Van der Valk Hotel Gent
"We stayed at this hotel for our Euro family vacation in August 2026. It's in a great location, with an Albert Heijn supermarket at the back and a Tesla supercharger at the front. They have basement parking, which was nice. Hotel quality is excellent throughout. Staff was friendly. They respond to emails quickly if you have any questions. Rooms are big as well as the corridors. So much space. Cottes restaurant has amazing food. Reasonably priced as well. I had a pork ribs starter that came to my table a bit cold. It was sorted and was delicious. Breakfast was also great with lots to choose from. Only problem I had with my room was the air conditioner & bathroom exhaust stopped working mid stay which was a shame. They offered to change to a new room the night before were going to leave so we declined as it was too much of a hassle to move. Overall I was happy with this hotel & would stay again in the future."
