"Would I go back to this B&B? Yes…it’s a great location. HOWEVER, I cannot give this property a five-star review because there were issues. 1st issue was check-in. The property’s info said check-in was not until 4 pm. I arrived around 4:15 and the office where you check in was closed. Long story short, the one person on duty had to go to another property and I was able to check in 30 minutes later. However, for the 30 minutes she was not there, I was panicked!!! 2nd issue. My room was on the third floor and there is no elevator. I was a solo traveler, female and 67. I am healthy and strong enough to carry my luggage up to my room and the woman who checked me in helped. BUT not every solo female traveler would be able to deal with carrying suitcases to the third floor. I don’t know if the staff always offers to carry your luggage. 3rd issue. I shut the door to the bathroom—only to be locked out of it! The front office closed. It must close at 5:00 or 5:30. I called the number of the manager and 45 minutes later a handyman unlocked the door. However, the breakfasts were very good (albeit really slow service) and the location is great. They supply comfortable lounge chairs, beach umbrellas and towels. The staff is friendly. Although the furniture in the room was shabby, the bed was very comfortable. I recommend this B&B — if you don’t care about 1st class accommodations, limited staff, and don’t mind climbing stairs. And having said all of that, I plan to return!"
