Older, roadside motel. Rooms were adequate but dated. Bedspread had two old blood stain smears in plain view. Hair on bathroom vanity. Tried to sit in bar/ lounge area but open tables were still dish-covered, appeared to be under-staffed. Decided to leave bar area without ever seeing staff. That being said, the breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff were very friendly. Pulled a plate off the stack to begin breakfast buffet line and plate had old grits stuck to underside.

The first night was extremely noisy. The staff were very nice. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is good as well. New Mexico is warm in the day and cold at night so it was very hard for me to get the correct temperature to sleep and stay asleep….other than that, nice place all around.

No Ice

Clean BUT dark blackout curtains to short and we were facing sunrise. Normally wouldn’t say but for some it should be said, we got in at 1:30a due to HWY closures traffic. 2nd time staying here on long road trip and NO ICEin any vending machine and we were up at 8a due to sun brightness in our room. All employees we saw friendly and polite. Clean room just older designs.
