This is a great hotel. I am very picky about hotels. This is not an overly fancy hotel, but it was very clean! The breakfast was good, and the staff was professional and friendly. The location was convenient for walking downtown, too.

The tv didn’t work front desk tried to help gave me a sheet of paper to get the remote working but that did nothing front desk than offered to move us rooms but with a family of 5 I wasn’t moving

The place is a scam. They advertise that they are « pet friendly « but after you have made the reservation and get there to check in they say they don’t accept cats. So they won’t let you in but also say they can’t refund your money. What a scam! Either say that a cat isn’t considered a pet or at least don’t steal your money.

Breakfast was horrible but typical of any hotel now days. Excellent staff, quiet, very clean, and enjoyable for a thanksgiving weekend. I would stay here anytime i was in the area. Everything i needed was there. Thank you.

The location is great. Several excellent dining options within a 10 minute walk in Spearfish. Price was quite reasonable. The TVs should be upgraded to HDTV.

Highly recommend! Staff was friendly. The nice lady at the front desk (I didn’t get her name) recommended the restaurant right next door which was EXCELLENT! The beds were very comfortable. We got a great night sleep and in the morning they offered a complimentary hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, rolls and juices and coffee. Close to the main highway for easy access but super quiet. Thank you!

We loved our stay at the Best Western Black Hills Lodge. Had a nice clean room with comfy beds right near the bar. We had drinks every night at the bar and the bartender was awesome!! Location is perfect and near everything you need. Breakfast was simple but very good. There is nothing we didn’t like about our stay.
