I was given a room with no internet access and no working heat. The pool was freezing cold due to repairs the day before but was told it would be heated by the night goes by but never got warmer. The hot tub was even colder so my kids came from a cold pool to a freezing room. The fact the pool was our only reason for going to this hotel an the reviews were good i was extremely disappointed that the staff even had the pool open with the temperature being so low.

Pleasant stay

Pros: Breakfast buffet, atrium, shower head and pressure, courteous workers.
Cons: Mattress could be replaced
Location: We stayed due to attending a graduation at Palmer College of Chiropractic, so did not take time to see anything else.
The lady who checked us in was very nice, polite, and gracious. For some reason we got booked into a handicapped room with one queen bed (to which the queen bed is what we wanted), so I'm surprised we weren't asked to move to a different room at check in? Either way, the room was nice sized, very large bathroom, although I think they should have had a walk in shower with seating instead of a tub beings it was handicapped. They also could use some shelving at waist height for those in wheelchairs to place their clothes onto instead of just the lower coat hooks on the back of the door. Anyway, the mattress could be replaced as it did sink in the middle somewhat, but my husband and I still got a comfortable night sleep. The breakfast buffet was impressive, and even more so that we eat it in the hotel's restaurant where a worker also takes care of our dishes when we are done. It's little touches like that, that will make us recommend this hotel to others. All in all a very nice stay!

Other better places nearby

Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Staff could be more pleasant. Breakfast buffet needs to be tended to.
Wanted something quick off of interstate that included breakfast. Due to the location while it appeared it would be right off the interstate, we passed three other hotels to get there. Breakfast buffet was empty and when we alerted the staff they were not pleasant about it at all. It took 15 minutes to check out due to an error on our bill. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
