Great location for a long weekend getaway in Dallas. Near SMU with quick access to major freeways. Walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Nice place to stay short term

The decor was horrible and I itched for several days looking at algae and mushrooms on every wall except the kitchen and bedroom. I slept well and there was a bonus with the washer and dryer. Overall, once I turned around and put away all the algae and mushroom decor, I was able to enjoy a more comfortable stay and space.

3 Week Stay

Nice apartment in a very nice area of Dallas. Perfect for my 3-week work trip. Very limited interaction with property manager including check-in and check-out information. Further, the property was set up for a short-term stay and I had to purchase laundry detergent and dish soap. The property marketing matched my experience but I would caution that the building amenities are a bit embellished given that the pool is mostly unused and generally the building is desolate especially during the week.

All in all it was a very positive stay. The host staff were especially helpful and generous. However, there were a few hiccups. First, it was not at all clear how to get from the parking lot to our room. There were multiple options none of which worked. It took a phone call to find the path to our room. Upon getting to the room we found the code to the door we were given did not work. It took another phone call and a dispatched security guard to determine we had the incorrect code. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and apologetic but after a long drive the delay was frustrating. Finally, there was only one set of towels for the two of us and only a sheet and a very thin blanket on the bed. On the positive side, the neighborhood appeared to be very safe, the property is centrally located close to SMU and tastefully decorated. Give its location close to our daughter’s we will use it again.
