Wonderful relaxing rental

We loved this property! It was a relaxing stay, with nature all around. We watched birds, deer, ducks, geese (including adorable goslings), and the river. Would definitely come back!

Excellent rental, very private. There’s lots of room for the dogs to roam. The rental was clean and cozy. We had fires on the riverside pit every night

Our family loved this place! Beautiful views and close to town.We had an early morning visit from a mother deer with babies, lots of hummingbirds and many other types of birds if you are into bird watching. Plenty of wood provided for the fire pit. We were able to get a fishing license online and fish the river in the back yard while cooking out on the back deck.The home was very clean with comfortable beds and other thoughtful accommodations. Plenty of fans.We saw a show at Creede Repertory Theater and it’s definitely worth going!Overall would definitely book this one again.

Great cabin to rent in Creede Co

Reviewer Comments: Wonderful stay! Cabin is very comfortable, kitchen is very well appointed, beds and pillows were great! And the view is probably one of the best I’ve seen! And as always, the VRC folks were very attentive, answered all our questions and provided all kinds of goodies to assist in our stay. Heidi was especially helpful with the questions that we had. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Beautiful cabin on the Rio Grand River

The split bedroom floor plan provided privacy with separate bathrooms. We loved the open space living/dining/kitchen area. The views from the windows is amazing. This place had everything we needed plus more. I would highly recommend and looking forward to future stays.

This is a lovely home & located very close to the Rio Grande - steps away. We watched deer & geese while sitting out there in the evenings. It is beautifully decorated & you will want for nothing - it is very well appointed. Each of the two bedrooms/bathrooms are located on opposite ends of the house so the layout is perfect for two couples. It is located a ways from the town of Creede so be prepared to shop for food or drive into town for dinner. You also need to open 2 ranch gates to enter the property. It’s not a problem but it was a surprise for us. You are surrounded by mountains & beauty & no other people or guests. A real treasure!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VRC is absolutely amazing to work with. They truly care about making your rental experience outstanding from the moment you book with them. We walked into the River Oasis and were astounded with how clean and well appointed the place was. By far, the cleanest place we've ever stayed in the Creede / South Fork area. They had SEVERAL extra blankets and pillows in the closets that were SO cozy! Having little things like salt and pepper, tupperware, baggies and doggie dishes and towels was wonderful too! This place truly had it all and the view each day was spectacular. Location was super convenient to everything as well. I'm scared to recommend this place too much because we love it and can't wait to return, but I definitely have to give credit where credit is due. You won't be disappointed booking River Oasis through VRC - both are exceptional!

creede riverfront home

A traditional large 70'-80's ranch lodge familyhome on a working ranch, just outside CREEDE downtown proper along a public access stretch of the Rio Grande river (overfished). Not that scenic, but a good base for exploring the area with a large kitchen/dining/family area, deck, and laundry room. Lots of good drinking water and hot water, has all the kitchen/laundry/personal care essentials and 2 comfy king beds in 2 large bedrooms (hard to find king beds!) lots of closet space, a small office with futon and roll away bed for kids. Fans for summer cooling, wall heating/space heating/freestanding fireplace for cool nights. Cleaning could be better, dust and bugs are always a challenge in the desert and mountains area. Decent internet and cell service. Its a short drive down the private ranch dirt road and over a short 1000 ft. of steep, bumpy section to the river. Quiet, dark at night, muledeer/rabbits/birds/ducks/hawks sometimes elk, and beware of scavenging bear. BE SURE to get the access code for the RANCH GATE too, as it can be locked at times! Probably one of the better rentals among limited options in Creede area. The local management contact was very responsive, but double layer of sign up/ emails through VRBO was confusing and contradictory to the ones from local property management. Directions were terrible. Street addresses are useless. You MUST know to look for the "W..." RANCH SIG just inside the ranch gate access road off Deep Creek Rd (aka 550).
