"We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink."

"We picked this property because the dinner menu had 3 veggie options, and the food was very good. Our room was comfortable if small. It was mostly well presented except for very low light over the bed so reading after dark wasn’t possible."

We’re surrounded by Michelin starred spots at home, yet The Grosvenor’s food doesn’t just keep up…. it outshines so many of the places on our doorstep. Dinner was beautiful, breakfast was a delight, and the coffee was pure happiness in a cup. Every member of staff was warm and lovely, the bed felt like sinking into a hug, and all the little touches were so thoughtfully and beautifully done. My only complaint was that we couldn’t stay there another night!"

"Friendly helpful staff, lovely ambience, no problem with late night return (from a party), comfy beds, great breakfast and nice village. Only criticism was slightly ageing (noisy) extractor fan in bathroom and ancient double glazing arrangement made opening a window quite a task. But all in all an excellent stay."
