Shower did not work, phone did not work, pool was not accessible and was told that they were thinking of closing it for good. There were bugs in the bed, and bathroom. There was a strong smell of pot upon entering the room. Do not advise anyone to stay here.

Excellent Hotel-great night's stay

Right off the highway 51 so very convenient with no traffic noise. Room was clean and the front desk people were very polite and helpful and efficient. Had a great night's rest. Will stay again when traveling on that route in Tennessee.

Nice Enough

We rented a room here for 1 night while we were in town for a funeral. The room itself was nice enough, if a little bit on the small side, and two of the three lamps in our room didn't work, but otherwise the room was fine. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and much nicer than in our last visit to this hotel a few years back. Overall it was fine for what we paid, but I was disappointed in the lack of lighting and space.

I had really never stayed at Quality Inn until I found it last year when I went to visit my son. The hotel is convenient to everything you need to get to. The clerk and other employees were friendly. This is the only hotel I want to stay at when I come to Covington.

Disappointing based upon other reviews

From previous reviews I would have expected better accommodations. I was very disappointed. The staff was friendly but the room itself smelled. Next time I'll spend a little more and stay at the Holiday Inn Express nearby.

Requested non-smoking room which I did not get and staff said I must have requested a smoking room and, besides, no non-smoking rooms were available. The general condition of the hotel is poor..in serious need of cleaning and repair. We will never stay there again.

Great stay for the price

I was in town for a softball tournament and stayed here. The front desk person was nice, the free breakfast was great, nice pool, clean rooms, and within half of a mile from where I needed to be. In that town, I think that this was as good as you could get.

Not Recommended

The paint and finishings were less than desirable. They had an anniversary party in the banquet room, but apparently the sound proofing was inadequate because we could here the loud music until 11pm and we had a 3 year old trying to go to sleep. The continental breakfast was only okay. I would not stay here again with my family or by myself.
