Staff was incredible. Outside grounds could use a refresh. The parking lot needs redoing as the blacktop is pretty weathered. Inside the building was cozy. Secure and safe. The rooms and hallways are showing wear that should be addressed. For this location (area) a bit overpriced but is acceptable. Breakfast was great. This is the first time for me that a hearty breakfast included a delicious Chili stew. With a bit more attention to the aforementioned items, this would be a solid 5 Star hotel.

The room was roomy and great. The facility was also A1. My only complaint was the laundry, and it may have been an unusual case. After washing, the clothes were still wet (as in soaking). The woman at the front desk was very helpful providing me with enough quarters to get the clothes dry, but that represented mote than two extra hours of drying,

Great place in Cortez! Wonderful breakfast!

Although the hotel is a little run down, it’s Very clean and comfortable and in a great location in Cortez with a pretty mountain view. Fantastic breakfast!! Lots of choices including green chile stew. Staff was very friendly and nice. Nice pool and hot tub in central courtyard and nice outside patio with picnic tables where people can eat takeout food or have a drink.

It's an older property, pretty well maintained. The King Suite was comfortable and quiet. Unlike newer hotel building layouts, rooms are accessed directly as well as through the lobby.
