Very nice experience

We do a lot of traveling and found our stay very comfortable. Room was large opened on to the courtyard with a jr. Olympic size pool with a basketball 1/2 court and fire ring. A full size breakfast buffet included in the rate. Clean with friendly staff. Thank you plus a door to parking lot from our room.

I was visiting family and it was ok. The hotel is at a convenient location for getting to attractions. Shopping and dining venues are close.

Room

Room smelled a bit musty; otherwise, it was clean and pleasant. Perhaps a little upgrading as it is aging.

If you like mice and a toilet that don't flush...

Pros: Staff was nice but ineffective.
Cons: You gotta be kidding.
The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We went the room and found the TV didn't work. Called and they said a 1/2 hour. We were tired and said forget it. Went to the vending machine to get water and I put a quarter in and a mouse ran out from under the machine and out through a utility door. Ugh. Next morning I did no 1 in the toilet and the water backed up all over the floor. I fixed it to stop the water. Called the desk they said it would be a 1/2 hour. This hotel is at best a 2 star worth about $75 a night. Never staying here again.

Charming hotel in the old style.

Pros: The breakfast, the free wi-fi, the TV selection, the friendliness of the hotel. Great coffee maker (konig) in room.
Cons: Ease of wifi connection. Air conditioner location. A sound wall at the freeway. A more secure door.
Location: Shopping malls, restaurants, easy drive to SF except during commute times. Great area to visit. Take the ferry to the city!
We really liked the hotel facilities (pool, basketball court, etc), and the breakfast. The people working there were nice and helpful, and the room had a good coffeemaker. It is an older style hotel and close to the freeway, so important to get the right room. We were on the 2nd floor (no elevators), so people who have trouble with stairs or lifting bags should be careful. The area is nice with a good shopping mall close by, easy access to SF (outside of commute hours), and even some good walking / biking / running paths not far away.

Best Western not the best

It was, what it was, an overpriced motel...first room I was given overlooked a swampy body of water. Second room was fine...all golds and browns. At least the bed was comfortable. The TV station I wanted to watch came in horribly. It was okay...staff was very nice...someone did knock on my door one morning at 4:30-a rather unpleasant way to wake up. I could hear every footstep above me... There has to be a nicer motel in Corte Madera, then again, maybe not.

Disappointing

Stayed one night. Disappointed with the overall experience. The room was spacious but a bit shabby.

Great atmosphere

This was a fun hotel.  They have a great pool with tons of stuff for the kids (basketball hoop, goggles and fins to use etc), basketball court, putting green, fire pit etc.  The customer service was good and the room was cozy, clean and nice.  It's not brand new, but they've done a good job with the upkeep in the rooms.
