The best thing I can say about the place is that it was located near some good fast food restaurants and a grocery store, not to mention several gas stations. Beyond that it was your standard low-cost motel. The keycard slot didn't work well. The area under the beds looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The 2 beds were almost big enough to be full sized beds, and for some reason, when we came back at the end of day one only one of the beds was made. Worse strike against them is that the Travelocity posting still advertises breakfast service when current pandemic conditions make that impossible to deliver; something they confirmed once I checked in. With the pandemic's end nowhere in sight I don't see the reason to keep advertising breakfast service. You're better off either bringing your own or heading out to one of the nearby establishments. Also, when checking in you're charged $50, separate from the cost of the room, in case you trash the room & they need to recuperate the cost. If you use a card to play it you'll be charged a non-refundable surcharge, though if the room is fine when they check it after your stay the $50 will be returned to your card. I don't know how they'll handle that if you pay with cash. In sum, its a decent low budget place to bed down for a night or two.

On the positive side - the room WAS clean. However, the location was sketchy, people "hanging out" outside the office doors, felt like a manufacturing area, I did not feel safe there. No cold running water in our room. It seems like there was a bullet proof class window where you checked in!! Lady was nice at check in but clerk the next day was not. Breakfast was pretty crappy. They ran out of coffee and milk and we had to find someone to refill which took forever.

close to the woodlands pavillion

My wife and I were so uncomfortable, we didn't even think about taking a shower there!

Disgusting hotel

Cons: Noisy, gross
This was probably the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was in poor condition, it had a not-so-great smell, and the door didn't seal adequately, letting an amazing amout of freeway noise in. Then, there was the guy passed out down the balcony a bit....

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was very easy to find and not to deep into the city to get to...The hotel was in a well lite area so security was not a issue
