The property was not clean. Shower curtain had yellow mildew stains and I found some spots of blood on the white comforter. The bathroom fan ran continuously.

The breakfast was very lacking, at 8:00 am on a Sunday there were 2 sausage links and 2 boiled eggs left. The reception desk was empty and had a ring bell for service bell, and a sign to call front desk.

When I pulled in the parking lot I noticed that there were trash all over the parking lot upon walking in the entrance the lobby was still dirty what looks like from breakfast. My room was full of ladybug and I ask for another room and was told there were no other room available because of the events going on in the areas. No hot water ice machine didn’t work moldy. Breakfast was nice and cold .

When we arrived we turned the heater on and it put out a terrible burning smell and the fire alarm went off until we turned the heater off. Instead of offering a new room, staff said if it did it again, let them know. We did not feel safe turning the heater on so we left it off during our stay. There was no toilet paper on the roll or anywhere when we arrived.

Room was acceptably clean, but we had no bath towels and had to go the front desk to ask for them. When we went to the breakfast bar, all the main offerings - eggs, gravy, sausage, biscuits - were all *stone cold*. As in *refrigerator* cold for some of it. Not the worst place I've stayed, but not the best, either.

It was located in the center of all our other destinations. The staff were friendly and most helpful. We did have a refrigerator that was a little on the noisy side. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Overall the place is fine. We’ve stayed in a couple of other Baymonts during this recent trip and by comparison this one was a little below the others. I’m not a neat freak at all but I used the stairwells instead of the elevator and they needed a thorough cleaning. In our room I pulled out the night-stand to reach an outlet and there was a bit of trash behind it. Maybe the cleaners are pressed for time as the basics of the room and bathroom were clean. The breakfast as well was a little less satisfying than the other Baymont. But overall it was fine and good value for the price.
