Woodland Haven is a peaceful mountain lodge set on 21 acres of private forest, offering a quiet and restorative stay in the Colorado mountains. The home features bright, open living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, Roku Smart TV, and cozy indoor recreation with ping pong and pocket billiards—ideal for couples, families, or small groups who value space and comfort.
Guests enjoy exclusive use of the main lodge and surrounding forest trails. The hosts maintain a fully separate, self-contained living area on the same property with independent access, ensuring guest privacy at all times. Host and guest areas do not overlap. While the hosts are generally off-site or primarily based in Colorado Springs, they may occasionally be nearby solely to provide prompt assistance if requested.
Please note that a first-floor seminar hall and two adjacent rooms are reserved for scheduled events and are not part of the guest-accessible areas.
During winter months, mountain conditions may require tire chains, and a limited number are available upon request. Wildlife such as deer—and occasionally bears—may appear nearby, reflecting the natural mountain environment. With quiet trails, fresh alpine air, and attentive yet unobtrusive hosting, Woodland Haven offers a rare balance of privacy, comfort, and authentic mountain living.
