I was a bit concerned about staying here because they were more negative reviews and positive. However, upon my arrival, I was greeted by very friendly staff who were very accommodating and offered the assistance wherever I needed. The rooms were clean however, some improvement and renovations are required, as some of the infrastructure/appliances in the rooms are a bit outdated. The amenities were great and inconvenient, especially the casino and restaurants on site and a full on grocery nearby. However, there was an issue at checkout, which could’ve been avoided, but it was dealt with in ample time. If necessary, I would stay here again.

2/10 would never return here. This was the worst stay at any hotel I've ever been to. We showed up a day late due to plane cancellation. I messaged twice through Expedia to let them know. When I arrived, they told me they don't use Expedia, they can't access any of the messages, and that my room was gone. They gave me another room, which was going to be ready at 4:00pm. (We arrived at 12:00pm). The room was not ready until 5:30pm because there wasn't any staff available to "make sure the room was prepared." Finally we got in at 5:30pm, after waiting over 90 minutes near the front desk. The bed was missing a blanket. After just accepting our fate the first night, we called housekeeping to ask for a blanket. They said they would bring one; they never did. I called the front desk four times, each time they said housekeeping was on the way. Finally, at the end of the day, I went to the front desk to ask one final time. They said housekeeping had left for the day and there was no way to get a blanket (despite me calling four times over the day). Eventually I convinced security to take me over to the storage room, where we went inside and magically found... fresh blankets. There was no breakfast anywhere on the property. There was no spa, no massages, no sauna, no amenities that were listed on the website. Most of the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and rude. (With the exception of the bellmen, who were very friendly and tried their best to be helpful.)

The room was very clean, other than some appliances needing upgrades like the dishwasher and oven. As far as the pool was not what I expected, I would’ve wanted with a little heat, and pool was a lil bit dirty on our side. They had a cafe side, would’ve loved to have lunch or coffee would’ve been nice. Everything else was great! All the restaurants near the casino was a 10/10. The people was very warm and nice. A special shout out to Juju, helped us a lot with golf carting us around the hotel. Housekeeping was great. I would definitely stay here again, but would like to see more tender love and care/ upgrade to complex we were staying at.

There is way too many cats on the property and I am terrified of them. Couldnt go out and enjoy without them there and the staff didn’t want to really walk to make sure they were cleared . The staff was nice friendly and polite. The is no breakfast to eat in the property and that wasn’t good . And the morning of check out there was drilling right in my wall and it wasn’t check out time , no notice or warning and I was sleeping.

Staff were courteous. Room was clean. We had to repeatedly ask for towels as housekeeping would take used towels but not replace tgem on seveal occasions. The grounds are moderate and showing their age woth the 3 onsite restaurants generally good. The location is directly on the flight path of departing aircraft, so be prepared to deal with jets overhead mainly in the afternoon as there re not many floghts departing late in the evening. The pool is minimal but the rooms have mostly been renovated but lack quality furniture. As this is on the lagoon there is no beach and traffic in and out of the area is always very busy. I rate this resort as a 2 to 3 star.

Excellent location but the resort is a bit dated, my first time but I could see what it might have been. We should have been told at check-in that the elevator at our biulding was not working and we had a 3 flight walk up with 4 suitcases and an 82 year old. The room was well laid out, and the view fantastic. The living room furniture not in best condition and the shower leaked out considerably onto the bathroom floor. The staff was excellent, helping with the bags up to the room, picking us up, etc. The resturants had a wonderful atmosphere and good food. We walked back to the room after eating, with a pleasant walk around marina. I would stay again. I would like a bit more consideration as to what I was walking into.

Ants all over the place and the issue did not get resolved for over an hour after multiple calls to the front desk and a visit to the front which is not close at all. No water pressure or hot water to take a shower. This place has the rudest staff that hangs up on your calls or doesn’t answer at all. Goes across the street to get drinks at the casino while on shift. I would rather stay at a motel than here.

Port de Plaisance Resort, Trademark Collection by Wyndham At first glance, the exterior of the resort does not fully reflect the quality of the accommodations inside. However, once inside, the experience is far more impressive. Portions of the property are currently undergoing renovations, which is a positive sign that the resort is actively investing in upgrades and improvements. I stayed in a 2-Bedroom Premium Suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, providing excellent privacy. The suite also featured a generous living area and a fully equipped kitchen, which included a dishwasher, refrigerator, cooktop, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, and even a garbage disposal system ideal for longer stays or guests who prefer the option to cook. The bathrooms were modern and stylish, featuring rain showers and his-and-her basins, which added a touch of luxury. However, there were a few cleanliness concerns that should be addressed. The grout around the shower floor could benefit from a deep clean with bleach, and I did question how fresh the bed linens truly were. These are small details, but they make a significant difference in the overall guest experience. One of the highlights of the stay was the marina view. Overlooking the marina with its variety of yachts,ranging in size and style was truly enjoyable and added to the charm of the resort.Overall, Port de Plaisance Resort has great potential.
