The apartment complex was very conveniently located to everything as it is centered between the french and dutch borders. The Host was very helpful and kind. Alot of space for storing our things and safe property. Only downside was there was a minor bug problem, but overall good experience

Jules is a wonderful host, taking time to make sure you have everything you need prior to arrival, as well as taking good care of you once you have arrived. The room we stayed in had ceramic tile floors throughout as well as the walls in the bathroom. The whole suite was clean and had a full kitchen, cookware and tableware. We felt right at home.

Property and room were impeccable. Jules (property management and owner) is amazing, accessible, very helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, everything is working as expected. Comfortable huge king size bed. Property location is very close to amanitas and easy access to either side of the island. My only take on the room, is that space to move around is very tight. A queen bed instead of king would create more space to move around.

Great stay! Jules is very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with all you need. We especially appreciated the convenience of the location, which has parking, and its proximity to carrefour and many of the activities we wanted to do. The kitchen is a nice feature, bed is comfortable, AC strong and the shower pressure is good. We certainly hope to return soon! It was excellent!

Good location to get around the island. Need a car though, limited food options nearby but 5-10 minute drive away. Main road very busy during morning and evening rush hours. If looking for a beach and dining a short walk away this is not it. Jules the owner or manager was excellent with getting anything you need and accommodate you any way he could. Thanks Jules

Well priced property. We had booked a single room but we switched to a 1 bedroom. Be careful in choosing this property. This is near town and grocery stores but beach and recreation is far and traffic in this area is very bad most of the time. No pool or other services are available.

The owner/manager who lives on the premises is always readily available and helpful. The real advantage of Diamond Gem, so long as you have a room with a kitchenette, is the super well stocked Carrefour just across the road. For a supermarket it has great food, much of it imported from France. Expensive but very good.

I like the location for dinning options as well as grocery shopping easily within walking distance. Even more are being built right now. Jewels tries very hard to make your stay a good one. Would definitely stay there again. We stayed 2 weeks.

Diamond Gem is a local apt-hotel in a residential area. No swanky lobby or grounds if you’re looking for that but it carries the charm of St Maarten. Clean room with kitchenette area and separate shower/bathroom. Air-conditioning worked nicely. Very comfy King-size bed. Fluffy towels. (Bring own personal toiletries like soap & shampoo.) Arrival - communicated via Expedia app. Host - Jules James - arrived shortly after we messaged our arrival to let us in our room and get us sorted with WiFi, etc. Lovely warm welcome. Gave us information about local Carrefour supermarket and eateries (Bamboo House is a MUST … thanks for the suggestion, Jules!), as well as his direct contact info in case of any other needs. Would stay again.
