Look, staff were awesome/lovely helpful.. Room and surrounds were as clean as it could be. Paying approx $300 night was not worth it AT ALL. Two rooms made into 1. This particular room was an ok size, had 2 large beds. Very small cabinet/unit was used as kitchen area. Microwave and toaster on top. No sink. Table near can be used as extra bench space? No seating in front of tv, however 2 seater lounge up other end of room (not facing) in front of unlockable window. 2?? Bathrooms. 1 was toilet and shower, other was toilet and basin (this particular one had a very strong (musky? Damp?) Odour. Maybe this smell was from laundry next door, however; everything was dry clean offsite. VERY OUTDATED ROOM. AT THIS PRICE ROOM CAN BE RENOVATED INTERNALLY.

Bathroom had a sewer smell. The bathroom basin leaked water from under the sink. The shower body wash was empty. The basin hand wash had only enough for 2 pumps. One of the bath towels was dirty. Shower area was small and shower curtain had mold on the bottom. Carpet smelt, making it hard to sleep. For $330 it was way over priced. Did not look as modern or clean as the pictures.

Easily the worst accomodation we have ever stayed in. Bathroom was filthy with cobwebs and mould. We had 3 kids with us and did not give them showers due to the state of it. Terrible. The Air Conditioner wouldn’t have been cleaned in years and we all were coughing the next morning. The office in the morning wasn’t open so we couldn’t make a face to face complaint.

Paid quite a lot of money for a pretty average room. The room is extremely dated and needs upgrading. Took 20 mins to get TV to work. Shower ran hot and cold on its own accord where it was mostly too hot or too cold to stand under it. The couches in the room are really old and need replacing. I won’t be staying again.

Unfortunately, my stay at this motel was very disappointing. The room was extremely dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before our arrival. There was dust and grime on surfaces, the bathroom was unhygienic, and the overall condition made us feel uncomfortable staying there. Cleanliness is a basic expectation when booking accommodation, and this was far below an acceptable standard. I would not recommend this motel unless significant improvements are made in housekeeping.

I arrived to this disgusting property that should have been closed The dust in the room was so thick that I couldn’t turn the fan or airconditioning on. The room smelt of rat poo or something just as disgusting I had to leave and find another room in a very distressed state. Wot If u should not be advertising this very unhealthy hotel and as I asked u should be giving me my money back

I don’t have great things to say about this hotel unfortunately. I booked an executive pet freindly room for the night at a cost of $230. For the standard of room the owners should not be charging this price. The hotel needs a massive makeover to justify these rates. The room was clean but very old and the bathroom was just awful. I can see that the owners are trying to present the place as best they can. The linen was clean and fresh and the rolled up towels on the bed were a nice touch. I stayed in this hotel when I was a kid and have always loved the windmill driving through Coffs Harbour. We also would stay at the Star Motel next door. It’s a great location on your way through Coffs and it was quiet even though you are on the main road. With a bit of vision and money of course this place could be great again. I would really love to see that one day!
