"The room with balcony was nice and had a great view over the valley. It was quite. The staff was nice and they served a great breakfast. Jacuzzi was unfortunately with cold water and no working jets. Be aware this hotel it is out of town and if you do not have your own transportation you have to get a lot of taxis. You can walk for about 20 minutes to town, but at night I do not recommend it. We loved staying out of town in the country site. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel — we only wish it had been longer. The amenities looked amazing, and although we only had time to use the jacuzzi, it was great. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service, and the food options were good and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back! My only suggestion for improvement is the access road to the property — it could use some repairs, as it’s quite rough on vehicles."

"I stayed at El Mirador de Villa de Leyva from Friday to Sunday and overall had a great experience. The hotel is rustic and simple, but the view from the room is absolutely stunning—overlooking all of Villa de Leyva and the surrounding mountains. That view alone made the stay worth it. The room was spacious and clean, with hot water and a comfortable temperature (no A/C needed). It’s quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hotel includes a small restaurant where they serve a basic Colombian breakfast—nothing fancy but good enough to start the day. I didn’t try lunch or dinner. Staff is limited but very friendly and attentive. One thing to keep in mind: the road to the hotel is unpaved. Our GPS first sent us through a steep back entrance that felt unsafe—make sure to use the front road instead. While the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the plaza, it’s a short drive away. Once there, you’ll find tons of restaurants (local and international) at great prices, plus plenty of shops to buy souvenirs and crafts. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, no-frills place to stay with one of the best views in town, I’d definitely recommend it. "

"Well, i yave to be honest for the sake of other travelers considering this hotel: - No hot water - toiletries only available of you pay for them (shampoo, soap, etc) - No variety in thr breakfast - Very small rooms - Noisy Also, we saw a couple of guests that had paid their room in advance not being able to check in due to overbooking. At this time, I would not recommend this hotel nor go back "
